There is no such place.
One of my pet peeves, especially from people who do not live in the USA!

Usually $100 - $200 / mo., depending on how many trips to Miami I make (160 miles / round trip) during the month.

Maybe $250 a month at most.
If the cost of gas is a worry to you guys, I’m not gonna suggest you buy a different car, but rather just make more money. |

You can get into sales. I've been in IT sales for just over 7 years now. I used to work as a government contractor making the insane commute through stupid DC metro traffic for years.
The reason why I bring up sales and in particular IT sales is because of what I've seen as standard for any field sales person. Any mileage you put on your car for work is reimbursed. If you have to pay for parking or tolls, those are reimbursed too. Because I work from home, I can adjust my meeting times with my clients to when traffic isn't a mess...which is getting harder and harder to do around here. I typically target to have my meetings around the 9/10AM time frame till about 2/3PM. Many times I don't have to do an actual in person meeting. I can have meetings through teleconference which means zero commute that day. The only downside with sales is you're tied to a quota number. |

Well I didn’t want to sound like elitist and tell someone that if gas cost is the biggest concern on your $60k sports car, you might have bought the wrong car. So I thought I would offer some solid advice.

Between my wife and I, maybe $150-200. I have about a 30 mile daily commute to work plus at least one tank a month goes to driving to school which is a 300 mile hike both ways. I have a DD to handle those duties though, it gets about 35 mpg.

Ranges between $200-$300 a month for me (Canada). Daily driver, but try to leave spirited driving for the weekends. The first month I had it was probably double that though.

$30-40. I live within walking distance to most everything you could ever want...except my son's school...which is about the only time I drive. That or to go ski or hit up the casino. I'll drive 4k miles this year. Last year I drove 1200 miles.

My 335i N54 trip calc shows I'm getting 19.7mpg at the moment. I gas up at 1/4th and spend about $45-55 each fillup every 5 days or so. When I throw in e85, I gas up about every 4 days.
But I enjoy the car, so... Smiles per gallon. =) I do miss the days when I used to walk to work. Car would stay garaged, and it took me 8 mins (yes, EIGHT!) from door to desk, including taking the stairs up. Now I have a 40 min drive in, and an hour drive home. =( Last edited by joeinsd; 04-10-2018 at 04:02 PM.. |

Less than $200 for me, if I don't take any trips usually closer to $100. And that is with a whole 15mpg on my truck. Less money even in the summer when I am driving my car and riding my bike.
