New business model.

Tear drop trailer that has large enough generator installed so eco electric cars actually have range.

You know people would buy them.

I don't understand why a true diesel electric hybrid wasn't built. Diesel motor tuned for max efficiency running a large generator that can recharge a battery bank or run the car on its own...or you can plug into your house and run if the power goes out. No physical connection to the drive wheels.

Even better - a small propane generator, so you are now fully fossil-free and clean burning. I also DK why not (unless you buy all that conspiracy nonsense about big agro and big oil wanting to keep the stupid party going - but what are the chances of that).

Propane is a fossil fuel, but yes it is clean burning.
