HDMI splitters?

Does anyone use HDMI splitter to send cable box to 2 separate screens? I have one cable box and displaying to 2 tv screens simulanteously. One tv is where the cable box is and the other is far away so I am using a 60 ft HDMI cable.

The problem is after like 3 or 4 hours the tv will lose signal and eventually just turn off. I have tried 2 different hdmi splitters from amazon but same issue keeps happening. Sleep mode is off on the tv and cable box as well.

Thanks for any insight!

Reminds me of college. We had one cable box, and about 20 splitters is going to different TVs in a fraternity house. Eventually, the FAA shut us down. They said we were interfering with communications with DFW airport.

I think the distance is the problem, I think for longer runs you will need an hdmi booster, something like this may help

Here's an article that explains everything, with a proposed solution.

Yep. One Genie in the Sunroom and have a splitter running through a long HDMI to the TV by the Pool. Remote is RF, so the only drawback is the sunroom TV is same as the Pool. Picture quality fine.

For a "business"... I know that the little local, towny bar right down the road pays a TON of money because they put games, etc. on multiple TVs. They have to pay "per TV" even though yeah, it's one signal. They've told me that Comcast, DirecTV, etc. send people in to commercial establishments to make sure they're paying "per TV". Not saying it's right or fair or whatever... just sayin.

But yeah, you really need to look at an distribution sort of system, not just a splitter and a 60' run of HDMI.
