Thanks, I'm loving the WJ so far although the PO beat the living shit out of it, even if the engine goes I'll throw a rebuilt engine in it for under $1k...it's a great beater

Nice pickup! I still miss the old ZJ I picked up on craigslist back when I picked up my Moupe. Almost replaced the ZJ w/ a WJ when the ZJ's electrical gremlins exceeded my threshold and I didn't have the time to troubleshoot. You have the i6 or V8?

I have the 4.7 V8 but it's blowing lots of white smoke...probably a blown head gasket, that's why it was so cheap. I'm looking to replace it with a brand new Reman 4.7 V8 or 5.7 Hemi. I'll drive this Jeep into the ground

You should take this up Mt. Beacon, should make it up with no problems. Also, you can flip this for a pretty penny for sure. Makes me jelly.

I've never herd of Mt. Beacon, I snuck the truck into Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx for some 4 wheelin lol...I plan on keeping the WJ for a while or till I get bored of it

Van Cortlandt Park brings back bad memories of me coming in 37th place out of 50 during cross country run back in the early 90's in HS. Park is very big (yeah I know, that's what bimmette said). As for Mt. Beacon, its about an hour north from the Bronx. Nice little town, lived there for almost 20 years.

Wound up giving the WJ to my neighbors son since his father recently passed away...in the mean time I searched CL for another cheap beater and came across a 2001 Tahoe for $1000.

I also bought the same year Escalade and swapped interiors since the Tahoe interior looked nasty with stained cloth seats...now it's all business on the inside and party on the outside lol

The paint/clear coat was shot so I decided to repaint it with Herculiner instead of regular paint...don't worry, I used a 4'' roller this time so no fumes or overspray got on my neighbors cars lol

I spent 2000 on a Sony A7Rii camera.

But could of owned this bad ass Jeep for 500 daamn.

The paint job is great and love the lights. Not being funny but it looks better than your BMW !
