what size imac to get

I want a new Imac and can't decide between the 20" and 24" monitor
Anyone have any input they can share?

24" is bigger at home than how it looks in the Apple Store, if that's where you saw it. The spaciousness of Apple Stores gives a false sense of perspective.

The 24" is priced well with good options, but the top end 20" and base 24" are the same at a $300 price difference, so you're paying for the screen alone.

I do like the 24" but you'll have to sit farther back or it gets to be straining on the eyes.

Thanks...that's what I wanted to know. I will be sitting at a desk and am concerned that it is too big. Especially because I have only seen it in the store. Anyone else have a similar comment?

They DO look smaller in the store, so it's not just me after all...

Go for the 24''. The bigger the better.
