Not bad. I'd actually consider this i5 if they could only make the concept into the actual production vehicle...or improve on the concept.

There is deliberation especially when it comes to the door apertures for production. A forthcoming concept will illustrate ideas but not necessary the final choice. Also under deliberation is the grille in which it might feature a Vision Next 100 which is shorter in width but longer in length over a grille longer in width than length. The Grille is mainly the character but of the i8 and i3 is not entirely functional.
It's true the more aerodynamic language of the i8 is inherited but there is also overtones of ideas shown from the outline of the Vision Next 100. Make no mistake but they really want to be radical with this car in both exterior and interior similar to the i8's cutting edge persona. It will also bring forth advancements in Autonomous driving. It's what I am involved with just now at one of its "off site" conceptual centres spread across the world.
Unless you produce an actually useable EV, you will be left in the dust by the competition.
Compare with a Tesla Model S, part of makes it sucessful is that it has room for 4-5 and luggage (enough for a family of 2+2).
In other words, it is a "normal car" that is fully electric. Not a futuristic design study.
Bring a "normal car" such as a 5-series touring as an EV and people will come running to get one.
Don't and be left to bankruptcy.

It's sad they don't get it. It just have to be a normal car that is electric. That's it.
I like BMW, but they need to get this fast.

Really don't understand why it has to have blue accents on it, or why they can't make it look like a regular car. That's one of the reasons Tesla has been successful. Really fucking tired of the "iEverything" bandwagon too. Come up with something even remotely original.

BTW: Link doesn't work. Remove the " and = from the text and replace with a ]. Front of the link should read "[URL]" without quotes of course.

Much to my own surprise, I kinda like it. The i8 is too expensive and too impractical. I think the i3 is much better conceptually, but its too goofy looking from the side - maybe when I'm old I'll get something like that; This render seems like a good sweet spot between useful and interesting. As mentioned earlier, Tesla is doing well because its a useful car, that still has concept car features and is fast as ****
