There is no current Techno Violet.

That's interesting. I thought they discontinued it. I think I recently came across a thread of an m3 that was in Daytona violet or something like that. It was an individual color but Bmw painted it. Maybe that???

That is what I would do. The magazine I write for is sending me to Monterey this August and I cannot wait.

I will be wearing Brunello Cucinelli there and I am attending Legends of the Autobahn, BMW Festorics and the big one on Sunday.

The Pebble Beach Concours. I am still contemplating what to wear to it, but it will be elegant and sophisticated with a dash style.

I would say the same thing about going to Lake Como.

Wear something simple and elegant and the kicks must be top notch!

Dackel, just awesome, fantastic! From the Escort to the Bertone (I have a book from the 80's with that in it) to the Aston Martin Zagato. I wish that Techno Violet was available. My dad has an MSport 328 convertible E36 and my mum had the 318ti both in Techno Violet - love that colour with the black leather.

Such an amazing back drop for very beautiful cars.... I watched Jay Leno's garage with super (and a mega car) whilst going through these photos. A fun car filled evening!

I don't think so. The M4 vert looked like a much darker color to me. Even the next day when I went to the show. I should have taken a 2nd batch of pics, but I didn't since it was mid day and so sunny.
