A modern day Isetta... The Microlino...
I think BMW really missed the boat. BMW really should have made an electric Isetta like this Microlino.
I'm curious what all of you think of this micro e-car... ? more info... www.microlino.ch

Nowadays safety regulations are likely an obstacle for releasing a modern day version of the Isetta that would feature the hallmark bubble shape design (see for example here). It risks to look like a Ford Ka. But look at the Mini and Fiat 500 remakes: instant success. So IMHO there is definitely a big market.
The BMW Isetta still puts a smile on many faces:
