I remember when my ex's mom got her new boyfriend, she would literally delegate every little thing he did and if he didn't do it her way, it was the wrong way. They moved into a house together and she would chastise him when he used "her pans". Then after she would nag him all day long, she'd say "Oh it's nothing, we're just having fun!".

I found a photo of my mother in law that looks the exact same as my wife around the same age. It was pretty shocking, haha.

Sometimes when my wife does things that her mother does, I just call her "little mommy". She doesn't really care because I have learned something called "timing". If you ever say something to offend people, it's probably because of poor timing.
