Oh come now...they contain rainbows, puppies and general awesomeness too!

Plus the world is full of shit...

Every time you smell a fart or a stank after someone uses the washroom...shit particles up your nose. Take that in.

Adding to the recommendations of others, switch over to DE shaving. Below are 2 excellent forums:

I'm pissed because now that smell has been recirculated through my nostrils twice today due to BP topics.

That's it, I quit again. I'm out.

Uhh no actually I didn't even know about alum blocs lol. I don't even remember the last time I nicked myself shaving. Maybe once or twice since in the 3 years I've been using a DE. I might pick one up though if I decide to step up to a more aggressive blade for everyday use.

I don't hack myself up but I'll get a spot here or there depending if a whisker went rogue...usually under my lower lip.

I got the Harry's free starter package about a month or so ago. It's a nice razor, but the cartridge clogs way too easily. Don't have any experience with DSC. However, as some others have mentioned, I'd strongly recommend you invest in a DE razor.

Just yesterday I shaved using my father's Merkur DE (my first time ever shaving with a DE), and I fell IN LOVE with it. The sound the blade made as it slid across my cheek and cut off my whiskers, it was so.....peaceful. Right after getting my Harry's kit I had done some research on DE razors, and after yesterday's shave I made the jump and went straight to amazon.com

-Razor: I ended up ordering the Merkur 34C: http://www.amazon.com/Merkur-Heavy-C...ct_top?ie=UTF8

-Blades: I went with the Wilkinson brand.

-Shaving cream: Taylor of Old Bond Sandalwood

-Shaving Brush: Escali brand

-Stand: By some brand called SimplyBeautiful. Ordered it in black.

My goodies are supposed to come in on the 1st and I cannot wait!! Definitely invest in a good DE, good sir. You will not regret it! Get the Harry's starter package and only pay $3 for the shipping. With it you'll get the plastic-handled razor, 3 cartridges, and their shaving cream. I recommend you use this as your travel razor, as that's what my Harry's will be used for now.

Been using this setup for 5 years now and never looked back! Had to use a Mach 3 a couple times here and there, and wow, I always think to myself "How do people shave with this garbage!?!?" lol. Trust me, it's a game changer!

Pre-shave oil
Something from the Art of Shaving. I don't use it but got it as a gift. I'll likely use it when I go back to learning to shave w/ my shavette.

Shaving Cream
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...Sensitive Skin
This stuff is awesome. I don't have sensitive skin but the scent is nice and light w/o being girly. I used to use sandalwood, but found the scent to be strong than I preferred. I've also used the Art of Shaving's Ocean Kelp shaving cream and it is good, too...just cost a little more.

Bowl
http://www.amazon.com/Edwin-Jagger-C...gger Soap Bowl

Brush
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ger Hair Brush

Razor
http://www.amazon.com/Edwin-Jagger-D...Jagger DE89LBL

Blades
Still working on a 100 (maybe 150) blade multi-brand sampler pack (Bic, Derby, Feather, Lord, Big Ben, Astra, etc...). Liking Derby, Bic, Astra, and Feather so far. I got the pack off Amazon almost 2.5 years ago...

I also got some cheap stand for my razor and brush, but the felt bottom left a mark on my countertop after it got wet a few times... Looking for one that isn't quite as cheap but can hold my soap bowl as well.
