Is Manning coming back...and should he?

Peyton has struggled this year to say the least and looks weaker then ever. Brock had now taken the reins and has done well and fits perfect into the system kubiac wants to run (He was able to beat half my team).

I believe peyton could play and if he was playing at the level of Tommy or Cam he would be in there. It looks like the injury is real but per my former AT wife he could play through that injury.

I think Peyton's story book Career in the NFL has sailed and it is in the best interest of the Denver (I only won because of the refs and muffed punt) broncos to press on without him.

What do you think?

if hes healthy, I dont see why not.

The problem is he hasnt been fully healthy for about a year now.

Yes you can play through it, and if he was younger, i bet it wouldnt affect him much. But with his age and declining arm strength, he relies more on his lower body for power, and with an injured foot, it makes it that much more difficult to make the throws.

Right now, he is smart enough to know what to do with the ball even with a weak arm, but I think his ego is too big to where he wants to make all the throws he used to make and is forcing things this year. He will need to change up his game if he wants to continue to play.

He needs to quit. He was great and is now mediocre which is a disservice to what he was.

I think a lot of people (including me) speculated this last off season that this may well be Peyton's last year. That is proving to be true. I hope it isn't but it's not looking good. I would like to see Peyton win another ring before he retires.

can you honestly say he gives you the best chance to win in the playoffs...His track record healthy is poor. this offence system is not Manning friendly, he needs a good O line and intermediate receivers. If was a broncos fan I think brock has a better opportunity to bring me to the promise land, it is super bowl or bust as it is for all large market teams

He needs to retire.

He's known as the greatest regular season QB. Post season, he folds like a cheap tent.

Just that. Nothing more nothing else. His one ring came against a Rex Grossman led Bears.

'Nuff said.

Brock isnt going to win any games for them. They are just hoping he doesn't lose any. With the way their defense is playing, that will be all they need to make the playoffs, but actually winning is going to take more than that.

Exactly why Peyton should retire.

He's not exactly reliable come play off time

Let's hope not. He had a great career, but like many great athletes he doesn't know when to quit. After November of last year his arm looked like the weakest in the NFL. Wish he would have retired after last year.

after that last game, if hes healthy, he'll play.

Down to a 50.0 QBR for Osweiler this season.

bro this is osweiler's first experience as a starter. the kid never played any big power 5 teams in college, nor did he get any meaningful snaps before this sesason. his arm talent is undeniable, and poise you can work on.

it would also help if demaryius Thomas stopped dropping so many passes

Denver won't be in the playoffs. They'll lose 1 of the 2 & KC will win out taking the AFC West.

Agreed on the first point, but one can't argue that he's had a great career.

I'd like to see Brady get all the way to the SB and win. Then retire on top for all the haters.

This. Peyton is the all time most losing and 1 and done QB in the history of the NFL. His regular season stats are so good because he had two HOF receivers most of his career.
