My wife as a A-1. I always wondered when outside of NYC, what a cop would do if you told them you are A-1 and show the ID to them. Obviously in NYC/DC, and probably LA, they know what to do. But in a small town.....

I learned to drive stick in an Acura NSX in seventh grade. Aside from that one experience, mostly in a GMC Yukon around big parking lots and back roads. When I got my permit my dad had upgraded to a Audi A6 2.7T so the bulk of my initial driving was in that.

I learned to drive in a 1966 VW bug. I bought it when I was 15.
The day I turned 16 I had my temp license. 2 weeks later I passed my driving test. Driving has been one of my biggest passions ever since. Great thread by the way. web photo.

I learned to drive on a 98 Honda CRV.. Dumbest car on planet earth especially that gear shifter was behind the steering wheel. you would be in d3 and need to change to D4 but since the shifter required a little force to move, it would skip D4 directly to neutral reving the engine like a retard driving on a straight or downhill road. my first car is a shittier car, bought it for 10k (lucky me). A ford focus 08 that has a gearbox taken straight away from a 70s datsun.
Edit: Here's a list of the problems that the focus have given me: Consumes coolant about 3 liters every 2 months... No idea why plus nobody figured it out When the car runs for 30+ mins and turn it off afterwards, it would be impossible for me start it again. Cranks but won't start. Pump leaked fuel out of the tank Electrical nightmare inside the cabin. Aux plug stopped working, burned speakers, radio failed... Steering pump failed Steering wheel vibrates violently . The rail that holds the steering wheel has worn out. And the mother of all problems is the gearbox... Pops and bangs whenever i engage or disengage the reverse gear. What is even weirder that all mounts, engine and gearbox, are in good condition. All in one year of ownership. Ford: built tough.
