Slippery when wet?

I really didn't know you could slip on wet carpet...

Yeah, they put the line between your two nations there on purpose.

Haha! Although I'd appreciate that sign. Lately at work, when I get sleepy after lunch, I've been taking off my high heels and running down the carpeted halls to get energy. If the carpet was wet and I didn't know, that would be a disgusting surprise!

Carpet is so 70's

Hardwood flooring, tile, polished concrete, or a landing strip is the way to go

The commercial carpet in that picture was likely just cleaned. And that style of carpet, when wet, can be just as, if not more slick than hard surfaces.

Secret option #3... The carpet isn't even wet, it's a social experiment to see if people slow down or walk further away from the sign

I think only if you went over it with a Zamboni. It wasn't wet at all, probably needed more lubrication to get that slippery.

It's not the level of wetness that makes it slick. (seems like that should be in another thread.... ) But when carpet is cleaned they use soap. Not all of the soap gets out of the carpet and when it's just a little wet and interacts with the soap, it's slick, like monkey snot slick.

I deal with this fairly often.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Don't you use a little soap on your "carpet" now and again????

I would be careful. I dropped a paper at work and when I went to pick it up, a used staple was pointing up and stabbed my finger.
