Any sailing fans here? Anyone following the America's Cup?

After being on the brink of an embarrassing defeat with New Zealand being up 8-1. They were just one win away from taking the America's Cup from the US. But, Oracle USA has won 7 races in a row to tie the series at 8-8 today. The deciding race is tomorrow.

Watched the earlier races but had no idea they tied, wow! Talk about turning the tide when everyone gave up on them. Quite possibly San Francisco has the most number of flight/hotel changes for the month of September

Move over 2004 Red Sox. You are no longer the best comeback in sports history. That title belongs to Oracle USA of the 34th America's Cup as Oracle USA has won Race 19 and has successfully defended the America's Cup.

Of course the media won't care about it. Don't expect a story on Sportscenter.

With the Oracle name as a major sponsor, I was betting on USA to win and they did. Larry Ellison wouldn't have it any other way. Hooray to a great showdown.

Why? Coming back from 8-1 is more impressive than 3-0.

because like you said, they probably don't care.
Baseball compared to Sailboat racing (obviously it's more complicated than that) but still, America's favorite past time versus America's Cup.
