Not an M3 but..

I'm in Austin this weekend for the MotoGP race and as we were wandering around the site we found an F1 car that we were allowed to get really close to. Amazingly the car wasn't generating a lot of interest from all the bike people so we got to take a ton of pictures up close.

I'm pretty sure this is the Williams car from the 2009 season updated with the Pirelli tires and the current livery. I'm not 100% though as it doesn't seem to have the double diffuser or have the exhaust exits in the right place.

Anyway, here are the pics. Lots of Carbon Fiber.

Front Wing

Diffuser

Rear suspension

Rear wing - This wing doesn't have DRS so it's a 2010 or earlier wing.

Cockpit

Front Suspension

Floor - Note the little mini-wing on the leading edge of the floor.

Front wheel and brake.

Rear tire, wheel and brake.

Nice F1 pics.

I don't know if that car is really based on a BMW F1 car. My gut says no. Here are a few pics of the older BMW F1 cars seen at the 'RingWerk Museum at the 'Ring. (sorry your gonna have to scroll thru alot of pics!) There was an older F1 car next to a MB F1 and then an exploded BMW F1 model. If you count the horizontal slots in the rear wing... the BMW has four while your F1 car has three. ?

No, it's not a BMW powered car. If I'm right about it being a 2009 Williams car then it would be powered by a Toyota engine.

I know humor is hard to convey through text and having such a low IQ must make it harder so I am not surprised you didn't understand my comment. By saying "I'll take 2" I meant that I liked it so much that I would like to have more than one. Just the same as if you went to the store and liked a doughnut so much you wanted a second one. At least you're trying a little harder with the insults, although "tampon" is still lame. I would say "better luck next time", but I would rather you just fuck off and quit making all these stupid negative replies to my posts.

You guys did see the big RENAULT sticker on the nose, right?!

But you're right. This is a FW31, the 2009 car.
It's in 2013 livery though (#16 - Pastor Maldenado), which is funny (to me). So the Renault sticker is from the 2013 car and it's on a 2009 Toyota - go figure
