I love reading excuses from Bay Area team fans when they lose.

Despite the lost, still thought that it was a damn good game and CBS rating would show that. |

I try not to... because the reality is that they lost and the Ravens was the better team last night, from start to finish. Still as a Niners fan, you can't help but to be optimistic with the progression of Colin and the Niners team as a whole for the future. Despite being down and giving up an unexcusable second half kick off return, they managed to fight their way back to make it not only competitive but gave themselves a legit shot at taking the lead.

I don't see the niners being as dominant next season. They will still be a good team but not as good as they were this past season. I don't think Kaepernick will be as much a factor this following season for some reason. I mean everyone talked about how the pistol and the read option were hard to defend against and the Ravens did exactly that. They gave the league the blueprint to defeating the niners.

Yeech... We can only hope that in retirement, he'll disappear into oblivion.

My personal favorite was the Leon sandcastle nfl combine one. I was so stressed during the game and wasn't able to enjoy the commercials however that one was hysterical

A good game overall, and definitely prefer seeing the refs let them play instead of having a flag-filled superbowl. Still quite a few who believe SF got 'beat' by the refs... but as expected, most fans only see what they want to see. Quite a few no-calls that went the other way that people seem to forget... Akers getting coughed on and falling to the ground to draw a penalty and erase the missed kick, Flacco got lit up late & out of bounds w/ no flag... it happens. But again, I'd rather see the flags stay off the field for the iffy stuff. And IMO, SF greatly benefited from the blackout. Baltimore returning that kick would've given them gobs of momentum had the lights stayed on and really could've blown it wide open. The blackout worked in the same way as when you see a basketball coach call a timeout when the other team goes on a huge run in an attempt to kill what they have going. Don't get me wrong, SF made a great comeback... but to truly credit them for all of it after conveniently happening after the delay is a bit of a stretch. |

I still can't understand the play calling for the Niners on the last set of downs. After Gore makes that awesome run. I tell my lady "the only way the Niners get in the end zone is with the run." 1st and goal run (with Gore's backup). 2nd and goal incomplete to Crabtree. 3rd and goal incomplete to Crabtree (after getting SMACKED). 4th and goal incomplete to Crabtree (NOT AGAIN). Did they really forget about Gore, Davis and the legs of Kaepernick. TERRIBLE PLAY CALLING. Anyway being a Steeler Fan we are not mad at the Niner's losing.

<<<<This obvious troll is trolling OP. anyone else notice XVII and not XLVII. all jokes aside, for the teams that actually made it to the final game, it was a pretty interesting game, especially after half time... |
