AL MVP
So who do you guys think should win the AL MVP? The debate is heating up between Miguel Cabrera and Mike Trout. A veteran that is having a Triple Crown season and a rookie that is having a stellar season all around. I for one am bias because I am a die hard Tigers fan but honestly I think even if I wasnt bias, Cabrera still deserves it. Give me your input!

Tigers are in the playoffs, the Angels aren't, so Cabrera will get the nod.
This is like last season in the NL: Braun went to the playoffs, Kemp didn't, so Braun got the MVP award...

Last two months of the season, Cabrera hit over his average and really piled on the RBIs and HRs.
Last two months of the season, Trout hit (a still respectable) .289 (I think). One team made the playoffs through grinding down the stretch, the other team missed the playoffs. If Trout had put up stellar numbers at the most crucial time of the year (towards the end of the season), I'd still consider him a candidate. However, that was not the case. |
