Who said Mac's can't play games?

I got my retina macbook pro last week, and have been messing with it. I decided to play my favorite wii game on dolphin emulator. It looks 100000x better then original game. While some things like the menu are upscaled correctly, the opengl parts are because of vector graphics having no image lost. You can see it in the character models

I am running at 2880x1880 resolution. 60 FPS. No lag at all.



I am super excited because my old macbook(2008) couldn't even run the game at 640 x 480 resolution : (.

not sure what a vcard is?

I have a kepler 650M 1 gig gpu.

graphics card video card... same thing, right?

I am about as illiterate as it gets with computers but know that most laptops don't have dedicated cards.

A friend of mine just bought himself a new iMac to play Diablo 3 on, upgraded card and everything and he's loving it
