Dealership repairs done right the first time?

When taking your vehicle into the dealership for repairs, how many visits does it take to get the repair done correctly?
The initial visit
A follow-up visit
A third or more visits

Depends on what the issue is. Usually it's either they fix it the first time or say they can't replicate the issue with the car. When it's something hard to replicate you need to take a drive with the master tech and show them the problem in person.

If it's something like "myirror light has water in it" or "my heated armrest isn't heating" it's the initial visit. When you start talking about things like "I'm getting a chassis error" where it could be any number of things... That takes longer.

Most issues are taken care off first visit. But, some I have to leave the vehicle longer than a day. Just depends

I’ve had BMWs for over 25 years. In that time I’ve only had to go back once for a warranty repair that wasn’t done correctly. All of the other visits were done right the first time.
