No actual gauge cluster area.....NO SALE to me anyway. I want a traditional dash or bye by-o to me-o.
Makes the car look like a big toy or exa-sketch. If this is BMW's trend then I'm out. |

That's even worse than the X7 refresh.

Not really aimed at me, but then very little from BMW is these days. Gives me even more reason to retire. That plus the lack of inventory makes going to work sort of pointless. I spend most of the day ordering electric cars people won't see for a year.

I like the profile, I like the rear, then we get to the front....wow. It's like they had a team of designers and everyone wanted a different design element and ALL of them got to include it in the final product. Shockingly incohesive.

That front is hideous as are all of Dukec's recent fronts. That extra grille area under the kidneys looks like it's just a precursor to eventually making the entire area one large grille, perhaps on the LCI.

Such a strange looking car. Interior is not my taste but objectively impressive for the segment. But the exterior lacks any of the elegance that say the S-class possesses.

Another Dukec and his band of misfit masterpiece... to be fair, the 7 already has fallen out of favour in the west anyway so its clear this was designed for the new clients to BMW.
I am more looking forward to the paid interviews with Dukec on telling people how they are focusing on the grille, comparing to a chef's masterpiece then hear there is too much salt.

I'm trying, but I just can't. I haven't really minded most of the new controversial designs from BMW but this looks to me like every facet of the car had a different designer and they all had widely differing views of what this car should be.
A shotgun blast in the general direction of a cohesive car design.
