I'm thinking about getting either an S3 or Golf R next year. Did you take a look at the Golf R prior to purchasing the S3?

I did actually. They are uncommon and the demand is high. Most dealers only have 1 or 2 in stock and they usually mark up much higher than MSRP. I think the S3 is more elegant, aggressive and more "mature" looking than the Golf R. But if they brought the S3 hatchback to the US, I think I would have got that.

I heard at the Audi dealership that they will bring the RS3 to the US sometime next year. That thing is a beast!

We were there last year and driving from the airport my wife says "I thought the Golden Gate Bridge was red?" Taxi driver, says in a deep West Indian accent, " that's the Bay Bridge man".

My son and I were laughing for about 10 minutes.
