some of the most creative, original and 'human' songs are hip hop songs, that takes talent if you ask me. it isnt as easy as laying down a few beats and speaking in rhymes.

I dont believe that anyone can make a rap album. Im sure its difficult in its own right. It just seems, as well as most commercialized music, that its all cookie cutter, computer based nonsense.

I dont see how anyone could compare say Nightwish to Kanye West. Whether you like the music or not, it seems that rap is easier for the artist to make. They write lyrics, and somebody else makes a bunch of repeating computer sounds to go with the lyrics. Just my 2 cents.
