I would call my friend and ask him what movie he saw on xxx night, and tell him I was stuck in line and I saw (insert wifes name) come out of the bathroom and walk away with him (only saw him from the back).

That way you would not be a dick. If it was something he knew about it's fine, then you were not accusing his wife of anything. If it's something he needs to know about then he can ask some questions and draw his own conclusions.

Just seeing the wife with another guy at the movies is not enough to go approach the best friend about his wife cheating. He could be a friend of the wife, etc.

True...if no signs of physically cheating were there maybe not as drastic, but I would still mention it to him. There would still be an issue if she said she was going out with the girls to really meet up with someone she obviously felt she couldn't bring up to my friend

Id defo tell him in an innocent manner just in case it is nothing to worry about.

Id LOVE to let her see me and see her reaction but I wouldnt want to give her the opportunity to think an excuse up if she is then confronted by the friend. At least this way if it isnt innocent and he confronts her he can see her honest reaction during the "oh shit" moment!!

No matter what she can think up she is busted. If she uses the "it's just a friend from work" card, his reaction would be "why didn't you tell me it was a guy", and then ask her how she felt if the roles were reversed. Etc. After thinking about this, I would actually walk up to them and start a conversation, let the guy know this was my best friend's wife, ask her where her ring was, etc. Added bonus if I had a buzz.

But yes, only if it was a good friend. I have purposely whittled down my group of friends that close to a handful, and we are all either paying out various large quantities of money in child support or have been burned beyond emotional recognition. In any event, we only see women being good for mainly one thing, and that doesn't include getting emotionally involved with them. That could've been me going to the movies with her. Good deal, she screws me then leaves and goes home to some guy that has to put up with all of her shyt. Win.

I've had my best friend since we were 4 years old. I would make absolutely sure that it was definitely his wife and she was definitely cheating. Then I would tell him ASAP, because I would want to know, too.
