The quality isn't as good as I'd like. The lettering bleeds together and I think the logo will fade pretty quickly. I'll wait for a new vendor before ordering anymore. Great idea though. I'd just like a higher quality product. And yes, I'll still wear the shirt proudly until it fades into nothingness.

Ooooh. That kind of bums me out. I ordered both the embroidered golf shirt (which you probably ordered), and a brown T-Shirt that's also embroidered.
I used very high res vector images for the logos, so they should've been fairly clear. I was am thinking that there may be a reason why they are so cheap then, but I couldn't find any other vendors that did actual embroidered logos. Most of the others out there are much more difficult to set up a "store", and do iron on applique's, not even sewn. |

When I did Desert Storm, um, a few years ago, he made our t-shirts and hats. When I went back in '97 he made more stuff for me. For my last deployment someone else was in charge of morale items. They did a good job too, but not as good. A little expensive to set up, you pay for the artwork per color, but worth it. No store front though so that might be a deal breaker for you.

Definitely a deal breaker for me, anyway. Most places require you to have a minimum number of items made up first. Where this is so unknown at who will want something, Cafepress seemed like it was the perfect solution. I just wish there were more places like them.
You literally upload a bunch of logos, select merchandise, position the logos, and then say how much markup you want (we did 0%, and no $$'s exchanges hands between 1addicts and Cafepress). That's both ways. There's no start-up costs, and 1addicts makes nothing from the sales. Then you simply name the "store", and you're done. As far as I know, it's the only place that comes close to that level of service. |

Cafepress is a good deal as far as setting up a storefront and getting the product all in one place. No doubt about it.
If you send me the artwork I'll run it through this place and see what the pricing would be.

Golf shift has a printed logo, polo has embroidered logo, and is of nicer quality. Only a handful of polos ordered, but many golf shirts floating out there.
