^^^ Nice one Dave. I have yet to get a wood duck in California, although I know they are around. The migrating ducks are back, I just got back from a small trip today to a wildlife reserve (state run, as the feds are closed), and again decided I really really need a 500mm.

This is from my recent trip again, and I will have more from this road on my next X1 picture thread.

This is with my Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye, de-fished. Love that lens. I'm so close to the leaves in this shot that I could touch them. The perspective with that little lens is really unusual.

Those colors are natural, with a setting sun hyping the leaves.

Yes, I was tied to my desk this morning and couldn't get out to catch the snow on the leaves. My image printer, Tony Eitzel, got out this morning and told me that I missed a good one.

I'm excited. Next Monday Tony's hanging 15 of my prints in my office suite, including a 49"x34" of the Grand Canyon. The tests that I saw turned out fantastic.

I use de-fish software (DxO) with my 15mm fisheye. It does wonders and makes the lens very useful. I find it very intuitive to use, but you've got to get really close to most subjects, or there's got to be a lot of interesting stuff over a broad area, like a big sky with dramatic clouds, to make images that work.
