Just got hit what to do?

hi guys so today i was getting some burgers. then this lady came in and asked if the bmw outside was mine. and i said yes.. appearly i parked on the street and she parked behind me and hit my parked e90.

so i got her information and stuff. the damange some what deept beyond paint. she is trying to avoid insurance if possible.

what should i do?

i went to the shop she recommended and they said i need a new rear bumper. which could cost around 850$ or i can get my bumper sent in and get it fixed for aroudn 600$ but she'll have to pay for rental for me for a week which adds up to around same price.

should i just ask for cash or get it done? is there no more alternative?

thanks

I'd take the cash and get it fixed by someone who does touch-ups unless its to big...

Contact your own insurance company first. You need to report it even if it's not your fault.

she's most likely not going to try to cheat you out of anything. she could've easily just done a hit and run.

Is she hot? What, someone had to ask.

Seriously though, if she's willing to cut you a check, take it and get the repairs done.

Gotta give her credit for owning up to it. She could have peeled off and leaving you holding the bucket.

i think you shouldnt rat her out. just settle it without the insurance being involved unless she refuses to pay you later on.
