As usual there's blurred lines in these matters. Calling someone out to their face is a bit harsh, maybe a few PM's may have helped? At the same time, one has to be aware of their own behavior and particular saturation posting, existing members will feel like you've come in and tried to strong arm the forum into your own private podium.

Thanks for the background. I am generally clueless unless I'm the one the in mix-up (that doesn't happen often), so I had no idea the level to which this situation had gone.

I'm not here to take sides at all. I just remember thinking her posts were mostly fun and she had fun with word play and innuendos. The selfies never bothered me but then again I was not upset with her so my lens wasn't tainted.

What I thought I saw was a life-loving bimmer and beemer owner with an honorable profession speaking her mind and not afraid to word spar with members who openly challenged her.

I would like to say that I used to enjoy Lady Jane's posts they were in the main funny but I agreee some were risque, it seems that I am in the minority as I shall miss her on this forum. There are many other posts that have annoyed me that use filthy language, another forum that I use anyone using such language would have a life ban, no warnings, end of.

So, folks I for one will miss LJ and I hope that she returns soon

And you know, I get that what one person deems to be funny, or offensive, or whatever, might not be seen the same way by others. That’s just life, really.

But I’m old enough and dumb enough to have frequented many forums in the past. And, from time to time, I’ll come across posters who annoy the heck out of me for whatever reason, so I really to get that. But I always have the option to ignore/block those users.

So anyone who’s fed up with what LJ (or anyone else) posts, just add them to you ignore list. Then you wont see any of their posts, memes, middle fingers, or whatever.
