Im right there with you. Just going to be running, core, and small things for upper body work. Not expecting to lose 20lbs, I'd be string bean. 10 should be feasible though.

Got caught in a monsoon last night during my run. First two miles were solid, little drizzle throughout. Starting picking up so I decided to head back. No more then 10 seconds went by and it was raining sideways. Got back to the house and my fiance is on the porch just laughing hysterically at me haha. Suprised my airpods survived after that.

Week 2 of home workouts. Only a chin up bar, bands, a 30# kettle bell and the parallettes to work with. They are absolutely kicking my ass. No cardio whatsoever in 2 weeks, lost almost a full percentage of body fat and gained a pound. Really liking the parallettes. Each time I use them I'm finding myself being able to use different ranges of motion and the progression is coming along nicely. The goal is to be able to do a handstand and inverted shoulder presses by the end of the month.

Never tried the parallettes, seems pretty cool

It's way more of an intense work out than I expected. Pretty much every movement is a core work out. My gymnast rings should be here today.

I'm looking into bars now. Assuming the higher off the ground the better. Pricing is around $60, that about what you paid?

Just coming off knee surgery. Fuckin been in quarantine for 8 weeks now!

Luckily have a total gym at home and adding in biking 20 mins as tolerated. Although I can't hang on to the diet any longer. Fuck it as long I stay active shouldn't be too bad

Don't go cheap. I did at first and regretted it. Picked up a metal set off amazon for $50. They got me started but only used them for a week before I decided I had already outgrown them. I've seen some that are really close to the ground and my first set was as well. Makes it difficult to transition from an L Sit to a Planche if they are really close to the ground.

I bought these in the 24" variant and very pleased with them:

What knee surgery did you have? I had my meniscus shaved a few years ago. Frustrating but it wasn't anything major thank goodness. I blame the years of skateboarding when I was younger.

What diet plan have you been on?

Only thing that concerns me is the pair is only rated for up to 300lbs. I'm only 195 or so, but something tells me I would end up breaking these some how. Do they seem pretty durable?

Makes me think of when I was young growing up with my three brothers. When a product said something like "guaranteed to last", my brothers and I would look at each other and say "we will be the judge of that" hahaha. Spoiler, they would never last.

They are surprisingly well made. They feel way more substantial than the set I bought off amazon. I just checked the aluminum set to see what the weight capacity rating was on those and it's the same. I would think you would be ok on these. They are pretty sturdy. Nothing about them feels cheap.

Had a swing shift with 1.5 hours between, managed to sweet-talk the EOC commander to allow me some time in the gym. Promised I'd wipe everything I touched down.

Used a standing cable machine, 1 set of dumbbells, and a single bench. Then I walked for 30 minutes.

Jealous. I'd love to have some gym time right now, even if it was for just one or two days a week.

I wore a cover over my face the whole time.

LITERALLY, on Sunday I took a nap and DREAMED I was in the gym, doing back. So the dream almost came true, I did chest/bi.

Stop gloating I haven't touched a weight in over a week and I'm pissed about it. Down in the 180's now, falling apart at the seams.

No end in sight for my weight loss, think I'm just going to get really lean focus on flexibility and running. Up my golf game, I really have no clue. I've been at a loss since my gym closed.

Same here. I'm getting very lean......but it means that I'm getting smaller. With my shirt off....it's not as apparent. But with a shirt on....I feel like I dont even look like a gym rat anymore.

It's a struggle to keep weight on right now.
