Yep. I just edited my post to show the outside of the home. The polkadots were painted over by the time she moved in, but the mosaic (and I'm sure real) sperm remained.

That makes me think fish room, or reptile room, was there extra ventilation or cooling?

Went to one house where the owner had created all manner of other little rooms to rent out. You'd go into one "room" only to see it half'ed with a weak ass wall, bunch of little rooms like that. Weird and creepy though it was probably just rental spaces.

Also saw a property in LA one time where the entire backyard had green felt except for the "pond".

I flip houses and see weird stuff time to time. Weirdest shit i've ever seen was an attic FULL of female lingeries. Lady apparently wore her stuff once and tossed soiled ones into an attic for years. It was literally about a 1' tall pile in about 10' diameter around the ladder. Owner was a sexy lady in mid 40s so site was bit erotic, weird and nasty all in one shot.

looking at houses last year, this person built a hidden attic basically. had very low lighting, sound proof, had a huge desk that looked like it could fit a bunch of screens to view videos of some sort, and two closets with nothing inside. i actually have a video of it in my phone. creepy as fuck.

Oddest thing I seen was when a friend of mine who is a builder designed a fake bookshelf that opened up to another small room in his own house.

I still don't think his wife knows about it yet. Maybe it's his "private place".

Ah man, the Scooby Doo bookshelf! Totally cool. When I was a little kid I saw that all the time on Scooby Doo and thought it was just something every house had. My folks caught me poking around the bookshelf in the office, looking for the secret entrance. I was so bummed when they told me we didn't have that.

I've seen a couple of these. The first one I saw was in a 3 story log cabin. A friend of mine rented a farm house from the Schrade's. Schrade knives btw, they live in the small town I live in and their home is nothing short of amazing. Their son, before he passed, was close with my buddies girlfriend, they used to throw parties in this house. On the ground floor, in the kitchen, there is a grandfather clock. On the upper right hand corner of the clock, there is a metal handle, pull the handle down and you hear a click. The grandfather clock can then be opened like a door. Behind the clock is a spiral staircase that goes up to the top floor which is a game room. In the staircase there is a door for the second floor that is hidden behind a book case.

A friend of mine who....um....I kinda have to be careful about posting this.....was really good at....let's say indoor horticulture. His "laboratory" was hidden downstairs, behind a bookshelf, in a wall, under the staircase. It was pretty damn impressive. A person could go downstairs and be none the wiser that it was even there. Book case under the stairs, push the book case in toward the wall, then slide to left and it opened a hole in the wall big enough to drive a car through. The amount of lighting, ventilation and whatnot that was in there was beyond impressive. He had also managed to reduce the odor to absolutely nothing. You couldn't smell it inside the home, downstairs or outside.

Yeah add me to the list of open toilets, well near open, 'twas a half wall made of frosted glass between the crapper and the bed.... JUST FUCKING WEIRD.

To be fair, many high end hotels went this route about 10 years ago. To me it's fucking madness.

When the wife and I were house shopping...We went to visit a potential home and were told the house would be empty from 2-4 well what they failed to tell us was that their very old grandmother, who was also blind and bed ridden, would be home. So we walked into this room with this lady in bed (who we thought was dead) but she thought we were intruders...it was an interesting situation. We did not buy that house.

hairless cat sitting on top of a dresser. Thought it was a porcelain piece. Scared the crap out of me when it moved.

Was upstairs in a master bath one time and I saw a snake! I told the realtor and his reply was, "What are we going to do?" I thought to myself, "WE?!?!?!"

Weird/creepy enough? Needless to say we did not purchase either home!

Did you ask the realtor if the owner is leaving the tapes.. lol great conversation starter..

Spotted this one online while searching for new houses on the market in my area.

OK, pretty normal looking split level. Nothing to write home about. That fence needs to be mended. Let's step inside and see what's up.

OK, to each their own on the decorating. Kinda goth. I can dig the vibe. But why the mirror mounted at genital height? probably a totally reasonable explanation like midgets live here. And the kitchen sized hamper with plastic liner? Maybe a bed wetter lives here? Again, I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation. Let's move on.

Reasonable bathroom. Looks clean. Framed panty art is a bit forward but OK. Who doesn't like a good set of panties?

Another bedroom, another genital height mirror. Those midgets really like mirrors I guess.

OK, hold on. Now it's getting weird. The man-sized cage on wheels, the swing-set with 3 anchor points in the ceiling? My senses tell me something is a little off here. I think I know EXACTLY what's going on here... I've clearly stumbled across Now_Rudi 's house! I definitely NEED to know what's in that blue plastic tub....

Let's check out the lovely 3-season back porch

So yeah, sometimes you're hurting for outdoor furniture so the only sensible thing to do is to wheel in a F'ing MEDICAL GURNEY.

OK, I'm outta here!

Sent the listing to our agent. She said in the agent notes on MLS it says "Call listing agent BEFORE any showings. Tenants to collect items that may be uncomfortable for some to see."

So in other words, those listing photos were TONED DOWN from what is normally in the house.
