'Cuz Country Boy! That's why!

I live in TN. Beautiful countryside and a multitude of other reasons make it a decent place to live. If you can avoid conversations with the locals, the people watching is fantastic!
Oh, I was not dogging TN at all. Love that state, very beautiful country roads and mountains

...except that he clearly stated that they were gas and not diesel trucks. Maybe those "stacks" are burn barrels to make it look like a gas truck can roll coal?????

This is the equivalent to a country boy ricer. Doesn't have to actually destroy the environment, it just has to have the appearance that it will. That's what makes them cool!

For some reason that reminds me of a road trip I took a few years ago, drove through TN in my 2002 WRX. When I stopped for gas, I think between getting gas and drinks in the store, I had 5 different people ask me about the car, if it was one with a fancy turbo etc.

I guess a bright blue car with aftermarket wheels and a loud exhaust was a rarity there, especially considering that I had it loaded down with stuff, roof rack with a cargo box etc.

I can assure you, it is not a rarity. I believe it's the same every where. Some really nice and tastefully modded cars around here. There are also plenty ricers. Much of it just depends on what area you are in. The more rural areas are going to have more pick-ups and less modded cars.

Possibly. The more rural the area, the more rural the mod. We are, of course, talking about wood tailgates, rattle can paint jobs and logs for bumpers.

On the other end of the spectrum, I've seen trucks with lift kits, lights and whatnot that cost more than my house.

Digging that heater! Almost as much as the "Ass Clownz" that has been removed. Those backward flames on the wing also!

If he has any drugs in there, they can't be "good drugs." He is advertising his deranged personality, not his state of mind. People with good drugs advertise with 24" rims, face tattoos, being unintelligible and look like modern day rodeo clowns.....minus the rodeo.

It's really quite the piece of work. I have never seen the other side, maybe tomorrow I will stop and get a look.
