M3 Roof onto E90
Hey,
Does anyone know if the M3 CF roof w/o moonroof (41317179843) is installable without modification onto an E90 335? In a quest for weight savings in the future, I'd like to do a sunroof delete and it seems it would be easiest to just replace the entire roof, and why not save an additional 11 lbs with CF? -Dave

I'm not sure what you mean by "without modification". The whole thing would be a modification. But to answer your question, you would basically have to have your stock roof removed from the vehicle (cut off?), and have the new roof molded on.

hey thanks for the reply. I just mean without the typical labor involved in replacing a roof. As in, would the M3 roof be a direct replacement or require modification to the surrounding structures.

Yea I guess you're right I guess I'll have to settle for a metal roof.
