Then on top of it, secret tire tests, and tons of stuff they allowed MB to use to great advantage while banning other teams from using. There were also many questionable non-penalties for years - such as the 28 times Hamilton went off track in Bahrain 2021 and didn’t get a single penalty. Once all of that vanished, he went nearly 3 years without a win and without a heap of luck he’d still have none in over 60 races.
Max’s best car was never nearly as good as the McLaren or MB ham got for 10 years, yet Max put down the MB in 2021 like a rabid animal and then went on to show us probably the two greatest F1 seasons statistically we will ever see. Max also is far more deft, dynamic, and agile than Ham. In 2022 his car had major understeer, which he hates. He still went on to win an absurd amount of races despite this and his car being slower than the Ferrari. He can cope with a bad car, Hamilton cannot! Max also can drive other classes of cars like he does in iracing or when he went out the other week in Mugello in a 296 GT3 and was fastest right away. He had the ability to adjust and this is where we know Hamilton will never attempt to race (Lemans, Wec, etc) because he knows when the car are equal he is simply not [...]

By your reply you seem to think I support Hamilton. I don’t. I just stated the fact that earlier in his career he was acknowledged as one of the best wet race drivers.

As I stated in the original post I think Max is the best of his generation.

It’s unfortunate that he doesn’t have competition like Senna and Schumacher did, Prost, Mansell, Piquet, Hakkinen and Montoya.

Props to Max. Great drive in Brazil.

But he's still a cuck.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Max is a decent driver - better than Lando, but that's it. He's not half the driver Lewis is and never will be.

Lewis was beating the WDC in his rookie season. Max couldn't even beat Daniel Ric who wasn't half the driver these other guys are.

All Maxes teammates outside of Ric are mediocre at BEST. RB settled for barely Mid-Field check because they were afraid that Max would rage when losing and kill himself and someone else

Hamilton won 2 DWC with 2 different constructors and is the winningest driver of all time. It took literally an act of the government bodies, cost caps and blatant cheating and Bias to cheat him out of his last one.

F1 is just a bunch of (word that rhythms with Light And Mashinalist) who can't bear to see the one ans only person of color top top the good ol boys club, and Beat Schumachers record. Everyone sees it and thats why this forum looks like an echo chamber.

Yeah, Max won 1.5 championships on merit - good for him. And he also literally threw a fit because medicore Lando had a faster car than he did. He's a more talented and equally as annoying Fernado Alonso, but his fans are absolutely worse.
Your tears are delicious.

Come from the back of the grid and win? Sure. Win in the rain? Ok. Beat up on mediocre Lando? Absolutely.

If Max is great, Hamilton is LEGENDARY.
During a "champion's drive" which was one supposedly for the record books, a performance that transcends all...he shared a podium with two Alpine drivers.

BTW, what's with the sudden spike in using "cope" and "tears" in online spats? I'm seeing it elsewhere regardless of topic. Is it just popular now among Gen Zs?

Ocon and Gasly are better than Lewis.

No confusion, I was just adding my own commentary to support that. The talent in F1 today may not be quite as good as when Schumacher was in his prime but Max, Lec, Sai, Pia, Rus, etc are way better than what Ham raced against. Beyond that, Max’s unmatched winning and records have come in a time where the gaps between cars is so minuscule and at one point he beat a 7, 4, 2, and 1 time WDC. Few drivers in history can say that they beat 4 other WDC champs - and quite handily to boot.

They know I'm not wrong that's why no one addressed the onboard videos showing a very clear difference between Lewis and George's cars.

Lewis couldn't even put power down without the car almost spinning out.

If this were Max, they would praise him for bringing a "tractor" into points over the 2nd fastest car on the grid (Checo and RB)

Just go back to the older threads if you really need answers to why Max is superior to Lewis.

This convo isn't entertaining for most of the people here any more.

Sure. But where is the praise for them? If Max's win was sheer talent, then how come there's barely any credit going to Ocon and Gasly? Sharing a podium with and finishing only 20 seconds behind one of the greatest performances the F1 world has seen in the last decade should certainly be celebrated, right?

For two drivers who may or may not score a point on any given weekend, it would be a damn shame if anyone dismissed their shared podium on luck. Yep...it was purely on talent. Just like Max.

Ocon started fourth but Gasly is definitely getting some praise from what I'm reading. Max winning is just a bigger deal from multiple perspectives.

As I said Max owns Ham. I think Max made more passes in one lap in Brazil than Ham has all season. LOL

Respect for their achievement.

Gasly and Verstappen gave an explanation:
07:22 - 08:18 (GAS) | 14:15 - 14:52 (VER):

Agreed. Beating 4 other champs is a pretty big deal.

Lewis beat 6.
