subbing. I hope to start my landscaping in the spring. It may get pushed off another year as I need to take at least a solid week of work off in order to build my flower bed out of dry stacked stone. The issue is that I live on a hill and want to keep the flower bed level and parallel with the base of the house; at the highest point it will need to be around 4' tall. Looking forward to having it completed but not looking forward to building it....then planting.

I also have a Japanese Maple bush that I need to transplant. Anyone have success with moving a bush about 4' in diameter? I know I need to do it in the late fall or late winter before spring, but I'm terrified I'm going to damage the roots.
