If you're in Denver, I'd *really* recommend reaching out to Carolyn at Williams Jewelers in Littleton (corner of Bellevue & Broadway).
I got both my Sub (no-date) and my wife's green OP36 with no deposit from her with minimal waiting. They don't normally have anything except "exhibition" watches on display (which is the new normal, I guess), but last time I was in there, they had a fair number of them-- which helped to at least see what the piece you're considering looks like.
And Carolyn? She's just EXCELLENT.
(Which reminds me-- I have to stop by to see her and get "on the list" for a blue OP41 and/or the new Air King.)
