I'd love to play the main event, but $10k is a bit steep for me. I plan to go every year now and play one or two of the lower buy-in events and the daily deepstacks again. If I get a big cash I'll buy into the main, or perhaps try to satellite in.

The satellite tourneys seem to be the "inexpensive" route if you can win one. I've tried 3 years running at various local casino's but no luck. A buddy of mine did manage this feat back in 2013, lasted 6 hours in the main event. He said the other tourney's at the WSOP were more fun -- he cashed out on a lower level one (stud-7 $1500 buy-in).
