Only if it meets/exceeds their ever-growing expectations. It's disappointment (and even hate!) otherwise.
In some MTV series, a manager firing a waiter for requesting more tip from a customer: "You made the worst mistake possible. You made a customer feel uncomfortable!".
It's them who should care about your gratification, not vice versa.
