I have just bought the 1985 E30 recently from a dealer in Munich.
It‘s a two-owner car which was always registered in Munich, with 100% original paint, no mods and just 21,000 km on the clock.
The last owner put the car in a dry storage for about 20 years.
The car weights just approx. 1,000 kilos. It has a manual shifter and the smooth six-cylinder. It is a very light driving experience.
It is definitely a time capsule. It smells and feels inside the cabin like its 1985! The velour seats are like new. All the plastic parts inside show no wear. There is still original wax from the factory in the engine bay.
My plan is to drive the car as often as possible during the next months.
