I need a bit of help from the great wealth of knowledge on the forum.
I managed to sell this CD changer to a nice chap. When he fitted it to his 2005 5 series it didnt seem compatable. The garage tried another changer in his car and it worked ok, so I am going to refund him.
There isnt a fault with my changer, as it worked just fine in my 2009 520d MSport before I got the ipod connector fitted.
When I relist it I dont want to get into the same situation again.
Anyway, my questions are did the CD changers change in the E60 lifetime? Are later ones not compatable with earlier cars? When did it change? Were part no's different?
My 2009 had Business Navigation and the changer could read MP3 discs if that helps .
