You think the police or a judge care about a broken windshield when a kid is beat up by an adult?

So I dont know what the guy tries to accomplish by running after the kid. He cant do anything, not even touch the kid. He should be going to the police for a report and then call his insurance. Thats what grown ups do.
You can only use force in defence. Running after a kid is not defence.
Where do you live? If you get assault with a deadly weapon you can use deadly force to protect yourself, ie. Run over the kid is legal.
