When I first started working, there was a telex or teletype machine. You'd type your message and it would punch holes in a tape and then you connected and fed the tape through the machine. |
I Just told my assistant to "send a telex, this is important" yesterday, just to see the look on her 24 year old face
And the fax machines where you had to put the phone into the "special slot" at both ends after speaking.
