Going up to random chicks and starting a conversation trying to get a date will not work in most cases. My greatest success has always been in mutual acquaintances of people I already know. (former co-workers, friends and oddly enough friends of ex's as they are curious about what they've heard.)

No one I know, that still lives up here in the NE, has anyone to hook me up with. We are all old & boring. I have a small circle of good friends & that's how I like it.
