Have no logic - simply couldn't pay $3K plus for those used watches.
If I were looking to buy used in your price range I'd go vintage maybe Zenith and have it go back to manufacturers for clean and adjustment.
There are some older TAG Link from close to twenty years ago I really like and I really like some older F1 models that are quartz.
Monaco are amazing but $$$$$$$.
