Man o man...haven't been to the Rolex since 2004, with my then GF who toughed it out in the cold rain. Brings back memories....
I doubt that the access restrictions have increased since. It ain't like a NASCAR race - the place is (relatively speaking) empty, so you can go all around pretty much without restrictions. I went and visited my old race car in the pits...two subsequent owners later and they decided to run it in the 24, I think on the original engine. It made it all the way to the early morning, as I recall....
