I am also considering replacing my Xenon bulbs. I've read a lot about them. 1 thing for sure: don't replace them by led. Beam pattern will be useless.

The best Xenon bulbs at the time are:

Philips Xtreme Vision Gen2
Osram Nightbreaker Laser

Both of them are quite similar regarding brightness. Philips just a tiny little bit whiter than the Osrams.

Osram also has the CBB (Cold Blue Boost). They are really white, comparable to current led lights you see on newer cars. Brightness is a little bit lower than the two I mentioned earlier AND they perform less in bad weather conditions due to the white color of the light. Also the CBB are considered not road legal (nobody knows why but probably due to legislation on xenon lights).

Pricing of Xtreme Vision Gen2 and Nightbreaker Laser are quite similar. CBB are a lot more expensive, and harder to get.
