I'm fine with imitation as long as it's not pretending to be something else. Vinyl siding is called vinyl and not imitation wood siding. Margarine is not real butter. Composite decking isn't pretending to be wood either. If anything it's more expensive.
But I hate fake wood. I have them in one of my vehicle and I detest it. They're better off using the real stuff or just colored plastic.
If it's badged as a Rolekques I'm fine with that. But it's using the same moniker, same symbol and everything.
You don't see cover bands calling themselves the Beatles or the Led Zeppelin. For certain they will be sued and it's just not the same.
