Any musicians here? I used to take piano lessons, but didn't keep that up... 3 years ago at the advanced age of 41 I started taking violin lessons, despite general opinion that if you don't start very young, you really can't hope for much... That's OK, though, I'm not looking to play in an orchestra or anything like that...
It's fun, but sometimes frustrating. It'd be nice if I found people in my area at a similar level to play with, other strings. My husband's a natural musician, a bass player, but can play nearly anything he picks up. My older daughter's a band geek (self described), has played flute since 6th grade, is a senior now. Younger daughter's doing the piano lesson thing.
