If I’m not mistaken, a manual will be available for the diesel model while the 330i will get the ZF8 as standard. You can read into that however you want, but it does leave the door open for a manual in the 330i and 340i. After all, bmw (Frank van Meel) said they intend to keep the manual alive in the 2, 3, and 4 series. He left recently, though, so who knows. |
Considering that BMW is now making FWD cars, I wouldn't doubt they start using even shittier CVT gearboxes in the future. I have very little faith in BMW catering to enthusiasts any longer....the ZF is numb and boring to begin with and the slope looks downwards.
