Exactly. I paid my house off last month and I am 52. First time I have been completely and utterly debt free since I was 16 I believe. Obviously been +networth for 30+ years, but debt free feels GOOD.

Or it did - I just bought some furniture and had 0% for a year, so even though it hurt to just not write the check - I'd be biting off my nose to spite my face.

It was nice for a month anyway! LOL
