Hey there - I saw no one replied to your post and thought I would chime in. I'm a 2010 E61 owner who was looking into this flash. I have a friend who is an 2008 E61 owner who did the Stage 3 flash. What I can tell you is that it is definitely worth it. Significantly decreases shift "lag" and seems to improve acceleration repsonse quite significantly. It's nowhere near as aggressive as I was anticipating - very smooth and predictable. In my opinion its a great overall improvement and just makes the ZF 6spd perform better and close to how it "should" feel.
