MP3 is not suported via the CD DRIVE

Functional enhancements of the headunit basic version
Combining several devices that were previously external in one housing has resulted in the following benefits:

- Additional functionality

- Software is easy to extend using suitable interfaces

- Fewer plug-in connections, therefore fewer fault sources

- Optimised installation room and lighter weight


Note!

The CD drive is suitable for playing CDs (digital audio). DVD and Blu-ray are not supported. MP3-Files are also not supported.


Some of the essential functional enhancements are listed below:

Apps

- Wireless application

- Multiple sessions for apps

- Switching between Apple CarPlay and vehicle by pressing the button {MENU} on the controller for a prolonged period.

- Apple Siri always available by pressing the hands-free button for a prolonged period


Speech processing

- Natural language detection for German, English US, English UK, Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese

- Simplified search for music tracks

- Simplified dictation of messages

- Advanced telephone functions


Navigation

- Learning by the sensor system in the vehicle to improve the digital map data.

- Operating navigation through touch screen and gesture

- Free text search for the destination input

- "Over the air" update of changes in map data


Car sharing

- Head unit supports flexible car sharing

- Flexible support of Apps

- Special handling of Bluetooth devices

- Special handling of personal data
